What is Intouch With Health?

Intouch With Health patient flow and clinic management solutions deliver service benefits to patients and healthcare professionals alike. The platform allows hospitals to design, develop and deploy entire patient journeys, moving patients in an efficient and effective manner.

What does the integration with PKB provide?

Intouch With Health kiosks can be configured to register patients onto PKB as part of the appointment check-in process. The Intouch With Health has already completed this integration so it is available for any customer using the kiosks alongside PKB. The customer must have a live demographics feed with PKB so that PKB has a record with NHS for each patient, and the date of birth as a security check for a registering user.

When the patient visits the check-in kiosks the check-in kiosk asks the patient about registering for PKB's patient portal.

Patient authorises Intouch With Health to use PKB's API to get a decryption token from the patient's PKB record.

Patient enters their mobile phone number and email address.

If Intouch With Health already has the mobile phone number (e.g. from the hospital's existing records) the kiosk asks the patient to confirm or change this number.

If Intouch With Health already has the email address (e.g. from the hospital's existing records) the kiosk asks the patient to confirm or change this address.

Intouch With Health sends the patient a text message and email message. Each message has one token. The email message includes instructions for how to use both tokens to register on joinpkb.com.
